2010 Father's Day

Being old

When you get really old,

Your face starts to wrinkle,

Your eyes see things as yellow and blurry,

And there’s not much of a twinkle.




When you get really old,

Your hearing is bad,

Just like there are earplugs,

And you sometimes get mad.



When you get really old,

You can easily get sick,

You never feel too good,

And you don’t wear lipstick.



When you get really old,

You will probably be sad,

Because of what I have described,

And you’ll be everything but glad.


But when you get really old,

You can and probably will get retired,

You would would have lots of time,

And hopefully this was not because you got fired.

Together We Can Change This World

Together we can change this world,

If all of the people in this world smoke less we will have cleaner air,

If all of the people in this world use less gas we will save more of it,

If all of the people in this world recycle more we will preserve more natural resources,

If all the people in this world would use less water we will have more water years later.

Together we can change this world,

The world will have fresh smelling air, healthier people, and more natural resources for future generations.



Together we can change this world,

If all of the people in this world don’t litter this world will be more beautiful,

If all the people in this world are nice and help each other the world will be nicer,

If all the people in this world give opportunities to the poor then everyone will have a good life,

If each of the people in this world chooses one orphan to take care of, all of the children will be loved.

We will have a peaceful world with happier people.

A Mother A Mom

There was a pretty mother,

Who was unlike any other,

She was very glad,

Never ever sad,

To me, she was a nice lover.

Little Sis

I have a sister, who can annoy me,

But I also love her for what she can be.


I love my little sis,

I give her a little kiss.


But when I am not there, she steals my sweets,

That behavior does not deserve treats.


For me, my sis works hard,

So I gave her a birthday card.


But sometimes she says I am mean,

And she always thinks she is the queen.


In her pants, my sister poops and pees,

When she does that we’re never at ease.


At home I am always the one, who gets teased,

When I am, she always seems pleased.


Careless and greedy are traits of my sis,

She rolled down the stairs just to get a Hershey kiss.


She wears her ladybug costume to the playground,

Sometimes, she wears a tutu to school and parades around.


Someday she’ll stop being annoying and mean,

I think it will be next year or when she’s eighteen.


When she’s a grown up, she might have a baby,

The baby will be annoying maybe.


We really, really love each other,

And have a great father and mother.


In the future, we’ll be together,

And most importantly, we are sisters forever.

Go to the moon

I was the first one to land on the moon,
I landed there during the afternoon.

On the moon, I floated around,
And, of course, I never frowned.

Before I left with my crew, I brought the United States flag,
After I planted it into the moon, I tried really hard not to brag.

I bought the flag in a bag,
And the flag came with a tag.

When I came back to earth, people cheered,
And nobody ever sneered or jeered.

Proud was my mom and dad,
For after that they never felt sad.

How much CiCi’s Pizza means to Me

I love Cici’s pizza,
It is the greatest thing around.
I eat the pizza,
It makes a familiar crunchy sound.

When I eat pizza at Cici’s,
The crust is always thin,
Salty and doughy,
With lots of stringy cheese makes me grin.

My true love is Cici’s pizza,
I shall never let it go,
Unless I send it to a friend,
Then I’ll wrap it with a pretty bow.

When I’m at Cici’s Pizza,
I feel like I’m on a play date.
When my mom declares I get to go
I simply cannot wait!

If I do not eat pizza,
I shall dream of it every night.
I really do love Cici’s pizza,
It always seems to be right.

If you were a planter, what would you do?
I would plant seeds with my friend Lulu.

We would plant palm trees on the shore,
