Once we drove to Hershey Park. On my way to Hershey Park I saw a sign that said Cocoa Ave., some lights were covered with silver colored wrappers, brown chocolate and Hershey Kisses, and bushes saying : HERSHEY PARK. We saw a roller coaster, it went up, down, up, down, and around. We thought almost everyone would be scared of it, that would be except for teenagers. My dad was scared of it. It sounded screechy, loud, and people were screaming. The parking lot was humongous. We entered the amusement park. I saw a fountain, some stores for souvenirs, and a couple of rides.
The first ride we went on was the boats. C, my sister, liked that ride, because she wanted to go again. The boats were shaped as pencils. Each of the boats had a flag. My colored flag was green, my favorite color. The ride was smooth and boring, that is anther reason C liked it. My mom also liked it, because she likes boring rides. There were these statues: a green crocodile, a brown-green turtle, a purple dragon, and a purple polka-dotted egg.
Second, we went on the Skyview. I think it was called sky view, because you got perfect view of the park in the sky. Two passengers can go on one Skyview boat. My mom and I went on a Skyview boat, while my dad and sister went on another behind us. My boat was yellow. I do not know what color my sister’s was. My dad took pictures of my mom and me with his camera. My dad told me that C was saying “I love it.” the whole time. The Skyview went slowly.
My dad and I went on a mini, fast, fun roller coaster. My mom and sister sat on a bench and waited for us to come back. The roller coaster goes around two times per ride. I smelled sweat.
Fourth, I went on the Flying Trapeze with my dad next. I liked that ride, because we were on swings going around fast and got cool air. We would go up and down, too. I felt the fresh, cool air flow against my skin.
My mom and sister, my dad and I went on the Turnpike. There was a pedal on each car. My car was sky blue. It was named Turnpike, because I had to turn like every fifteen seconds. I also had to go under a bridge that a train goes over. I liked going fast. In fact, I went so fast that I almost bumped my mom and sister’s light green car. I was tall enough to reach the pedal, but C couldn’t.
I told my mom C and I were hot. I asked her if we could have some dippin’ dots. I pointed to a dippin’ dots stand. She went to my dad for twenty dollars because she did not bring her purse. My dad was on the phone so my mom made a sign that said “need money”. My dad gave her twenty dollars. The guy at the stand asked me what I wanted. I said that I wanted medium Rainbow Ice. My mom knows my sister always wants what I have. My sister got small Rainbow Ice, and my mom got small chocolate. My sister and I did not finish ours. My mom finished hers. I said, “Thank you for buying it, mom.”
My mom and I went on the FunSlide. It went slowly and smoothly. And as I said my mom likes boring rides. (This one was boring.) There were two pairs of three slides connected. Two were pink, two were aqua, and two were yellow.
My dad, my sister and I went in the wave pool. We went into the changing room and changed into our swimming suits. My sister’s were green with white polk-a-dots. Mine was blue with pink and red hearts. My dad’s was white with orange and blue stripe sat on top of his trunks. We jumped over the waves at the shallow end. It felt like I was in the ocean. The water was salt water. It was better than the ocean, because there were no sharks and fishes. It was clearer, smaller, and less scary.
I had a great time. We drove home. The ride home was boring. I was tired.

That sounds like real fun in summer! Yammy! I like your analogy a lot, your attention to details is also very good. Hersey park is fun!
ReplyDeleteAwesome Purple Pear,
ReplyDeleteCould you tell me how did you remember that much detail? I feel like I see the roller coaster and people screaming. I can feel the smooth ride on the boat. Waiting for more good writings!
